Hawker Lane definitely brings the vibe of Asia to Chatswood, with less risk of food poisoning, and more comfortable surroundings. The food is generally quite good for food court standards, and I think the strength is in the selection of stalls that they’ve brought into the one space. Be prepared though, since it’s so newly opened, it’s ridiculously crowded, and the chaos is barely contained. Great if you employ group strategy – one person minds the table while the others place orders and collect food – but otherwise, give it a whirl during the off peak hours.
