Rice Paper Roll
I’ve followed Madam Nhu on her worldwide adventures for a looooong time on Instagram, and it’s nice to see that her staff is bringing Asian hospitality to her new stall. And no, it’s not a nice way of saying that they chat amongst themselves and ignore you. No, they were an absolute delight, and all smiles in the face of unending crowds.
We tried a Pulled Pork Rice Paper Roll (the pork was great, but the roll on the whole really needed the dipping sauce) and what they called a soup cup, which is a sample size of their Pho bo (beef soup). Let me say that this Pho broth was BALLER. Like, no holds barred, flavour to the last drop baller. This was the only thing that had me and my friend fighting over it to the last drop, and we polished off slices of beef and onion and just added so much depth.
Definitely going back for the full treatment sometime.
