Royal Milk Tea and Lemon Tea Soft Serve
I’m sure that if Tetsuya has the most photographed dish in the world with his Petuna Ocean Trout, then Aqua S must be the most photographed soft serve in Sydney. They’ve expanded rapidly, with Macquarie, and now Chatswood, joining the OG speckled sky blue walls of Aqua S in Regent Place.
The two flavours this week: Royal Milk Tea and Lemon Tea. I’m not sure what is so Royal about Royal Milk Tea, but it sure was creamy, and translated well to a soft serve. The Lemon Tea, on the other hand, had a bitter aftertaste, like the tea had been oversteeped. On the upside, does it mean that they use real tea? Not as good a flavour as say, the Blood Orange, but with new ones coming in every two weeks, you don’t have to wait for long if something isn’t to your taste.
