Jim’s Malaysia
The titular (tee hee!) Jim was there, and he seemed like a calm island in the storm of people, happy to let the chaos wash over him. They had a looooong line going, and we lucky food bloggers got to have our samples pre-plated for us, so we could grab and go.
The curry puff was quite nice in a grab-and-go sorta way, but it wasn’t as flaky as I was hoping it would be. The Kuehs were of a similar standard, but the Laksa soup was thick and rich like I wanted it to be. Now, I must put a huge disclaimer in saying that I’m judging this off a teeny tiny sample size, but from what I’ve had, the broth is legit. Which is 75% of your laksa, right there.
